...We're discontinuing the forums.

It's not a decision we made lightly, but the forums and the outmoded software on which they're running have failed to live up to our and our users' expectations.

We hope to soon unveil a more streamlined, integrated experience for signing in to comment and contribute to discussions about the news of the day. But more on that later...
